Become a Member

If you support the mission statement of Haven Society, you are eligible for membership. There are two types:

Regular (Voting) members must be female and 14 years of age or older

Any other individual, which includes staff, volunteers and supportive men, organization or corporation is an Associate (Non-voting) member

As a member of Haven Society you are making a public commitment that you support:

• The eradication of violence against women and violence in families
• The provision of support services to women and families who experience violence, including shelter, counselling and support

As a member you will be:

• Approved by the Board of Directors for membership
• Kept up to date on the activities of Haven Society
• Notified of the Annual General Meeting and the issues to be addressed there

And, if you are a Regular member,

• Eligible to vote on issues at the AGM and help elect a Board of Directors
