Welcome to Haven Society!

Hello and welcome to our web site. Haven Society provides services to women and children, youth, families and men who have experienced violence. Every year over 2,000 women and children in the mid Vancouver Island area seek support to deal with issues of physical and sexual abuse and violence. Haven Society is here to help. Our programs provide everything from shelter and food to emotional support, counselling, advocacy, court accompaniment, and most importantly a safe place to begin healing from the abuse.

Clients using Haven services can expect:

• Programs and services that support self-awareness, self-reliance, and self-esteem;
• A safe and welcoming atmosphere where they can begin the journey towards healing and non-violent living;
• A non-judgmental attitude that respects women's right to make their own choices.
