Fundraising for Haven Society

We appreciate your interest in holding a fundraising event for Haven Society. We are fortunate to have caring community partners who host events and initiatives to raise money for the women and children who use our services. We want to work with you to make your event a success and to achieve the best results possible. We understand how much time and effort it takes to create a successful fundraising event.
Haven Society is happy to provide:
· First-hand knowledge on event planning
· Ideas of how to plan and run a successful event
· List of ideas/projects where the money might be used, so you can choose something that appeals to you and your group
· Tax receipts, within Canada Revenue Agency’s guidelines
· General publicity through press releases and newsletters
· With appropriate notice, and where possible, Haven Society Volunteers
· Board and/or Management representatives to attend or speak at the event
· To help ensure that your event idea corresponds with Haven Society’s vision, mandate and goals, we will provide you with some information to assist you with planning.
* Please note that we are not able to provide funding or reimbursement for event expenses, and that it is the responsibility of the event coordinators to ensure that provincial gaming regulations are met.
